Social Media Paranoia

Is it odd that I never check Facebook while I'm logged into my email account because I'm afraid Facebook will hack into my email account if I'm signed in?

I would just stop using Facebook (one of these days Facebook, Starbucks, and Wal-Mart will combine forces to take over the world), seeing that I don't trust it, but it's the only way I stay in touch with some of my friends and relatives.

In other news, it's hot outside, y'all. It's really, really hot.

You forgot Monsanto in your axis of evil.

Ooooh, how I could leave them out? Monsanto is, of course, the mastermind behind so much of what is wrong with the world today. Bleh. I wouldn't be surprised if Monsanto bought out Facebook so they could find people bad-mouthing Big Ag and then squash them.

OMG, I'm dying laughing at your comments with JLR. Who knew :whispers: soybeans :/whispers: could be the root of all evil. I thought it was money. And sales of Food, Inc. and King Corn. And the Winklevoss twins.

As for FB, I'd only worry about hacking if you use one of their apps, like, "YOUR FRIEND THINKS YOU ARE A #1 HOTTIE - see what they said" that, and "FB NOW HAS A DISLIKE BUTTON, CLICK IT AND SEE!"

So I guess you could add FB apps to the evil list. And VPL. And uncomely granny fanny cutout yard ornaments.

The list is endless, really...

Bee, dare I ask who the Winklevoss twins are? I'm horribly out of touch with pop culture and most things that aren't related to my job.

I'm so with ya on that one! FB is just another way to keep tabs on everyone if you ask me :)
Just popped over...blog hopping today. Thought I'd say hi!

Hi, Tracy! Thanks for stopping by. Glad to hear you feel the same way about Facebook. :)

RR, the Winklevoss twins are the guys who sued Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, claiming intellectual property theft for the idea of FB.

VPL is also evil (that's visible panty lines)

Sometimes I store so much useless information in my dome that I assume everyone knows what I'm talking about. Oddly enough, I am startlingly surprised when they don't. Although, I can really kick butt at Words With Friends or Trivial Pursuit :)

Bee: And now I have to ask, what is Words with Friends?

Pardon the ignorance and just see this as an opportunity to share more of that stored knowledge.
