How to Deal with Stress

I think I could handle being at the grocery store much better if Kevin Max would sing my grocery list. Yep, if his beautiful voice were to whisper in my ear "you need bread, milk, and granola bars," I'd enjoy the grocery store much more.

Also, if Michael Kitchens could provide the narrative everytime I'm on hold, I'd probably actually believe it when whatever corporation I'm holding for insisted that my call was important and that I should remain on the line. In fact, I'd probably want to stay on hold. Mr. Kitchens has such a pleasant way of speaking.

Who are these people? Do I need to google them?

Kevin Max is a singer, part of the group DC Talk . *Amazing* voice. Beautiful, amazing voice.

Michael Kitchens is an actor. You can see him (I think) next Sunday night on PBS in "Foyle's War" (mystery series set in England during WWII).

Oh. Don't I feel dumb now. He's the OTHER guy from DC Talk. Besides Tait and TobyMac. Those are the only two I know. Incidentally, I just bought their new book, Under God. It's all about patriotic stories of Americans from the days of our Founding Fathers. Have you read it? It's probably right up your alley. It's in the style of Jesus Freaks I and II if you've read those.

I will imdb.com Michael Kitchens.

The other guy, AM? The other guy? As far as I'm concerned, he is *the* guy. Don't get me wrong, I like Michael Tait and TobyMac. I like their work with DC Talk and their solo projects. But Kevin Max is the one who sold me on DC Talk. Dad popped the Jesus Freak CD in during a road trip, and I thought, "DC Talk? Really?" Then I heard Kevin Max's voice, and I thought, Sign me up as a DC Talk fan. Put me on the top of the list.
