Just had this conversation with Deals:
I asked her if I could eat lunch with her, or would she rather eat alone?
She assured me that, "as human beings, [lunch] tends to be a social activity, reminiscent of running in packs like dogs, but different."
Right. I guess that means she doesn't mind if I eat lunch with her?

Unless it's an invite to go hunt down some prey on the fairgrounds. Did you wear your running shoes?
That's what I got out of it, as well.
Hunt down prey? what? Next you'll be swooping from the Texas Star!
Silly questions deserve silly answers.
Here's a conversation with RR from earlier today (hehe...payback):
RR: [Walking into the bookstore carrying trash] "Hey."
ME: "Oh, hi! What's that [pointing to the trash]?"
RR: "It's my annual ice cream cookie sandwich that makes me feel sick."
ME: "Did you eat it all?"
RR: "Yes."
ME: "So, how do you feel?"
RR: "Sick."
ME: "Ah. Nicely done."
JLR: I was not, unfortunately, wearing my running shoes, nor was I wearing wings for swooping down from the Texas Star. Alas. I had to settle for regular people food.
fulavyhn: Full love ya', hon? They'll laugh at ya' hon?
I think Bee just covered both of us on the JLR comment. I'm reverting back to my single days.
Have y'all checked email recently? Hmmmmm?
No, I haven't, AM. I'll go do that now.
i like the fact that she used "reminiscent," as if we all reminisce about running in packs like dogs.
Wait?! You mean, you don't?!
*Gasp*
