Today, Deals said to me while we were at Jamba Juice:
"I'm getting an immunity boost because I've been spending time with you."
She said this with a look on her face that was a lovely combination of sneering, suspicion, and disgust. It was a work of art. I couldn't help but be amused.
I was reminded of the sick people at work who used to be insulted when I used alcohol wipes to clean handrails and doorknobs they'd touched. Hey, I was just looking out for my health. And Deals was clearly doing the same today. Way to go, Deals. Way to be like one of the family. Hee hee. Hee hee hee hee.

I'm picturing the look on her face. I wish I could have been there!
This sounds like it's really out of the blue and all but you have allergy induced asthma. Your symptoms were the same as mine before I figured it out.
Do this, buy some Claratin and check with your doctor about getting a 5mg chewable of Singulair. Claritin is for allergies and Singulair is for the asthma. Neither will harm you if you it's not that.
You just sound so close to the symptoms I get with allergies, I thought I would help you out. Colds don't go on for 15 days in the summer.

You should charge her for boosting her immunity by exposing her to the germs at a distance, so that her white blood cells could develop a resistance before the germs fully invaded her system.
I'm going to be only slightly upset if I end up sick with whatever plague you've had for the past 10 days. After all, I've NEVER given you any of my plagues in our almost three year history!
Your only saving grace is that I don’t pretend for one moment that you shared your plague with me voluntarily. ONLY SAVING GRACE.
P.S. I got another immunity boost today. It helped to suppress the tickly-throat cough I've been experiencing recently. Normally, I'd just go ahead and cough, but since SOMEONE told me that doing so MAY SCAR MY LUNGS FOREVER I've been opting for things that double as cough muffler. Grrr…
Deals is going to start hiding in her apt. soon. Asking people to leave soup at her doorstep.
Hope all is well.
Edge: Hmm, sure wish I'd read your post before I went to the doctor this morning, where I was not diagnosed with allergy-induced asthma. I would have suggested it to the doctor, since my twin sister has that problem. Oh, well; the doctor at least did give me an inhaler. And JLR has some singulair I can swipe. Thanks for the tip!
Lia: Ha ha! Ha ha ha ha.
Deals: It's true! My doctor said so. I think.
Hi, Amstaff! Other than the cough, and that gigantic project we're working on, things are great! How are things with you?
Are you wearing your face today?
No, I'm not wearing my face today. Maybe that's my problem. How about you?
I mean, are you wearing your face today?
