My furniture still hasn't arrived, so all that's in the apartment is a couple of computers and some suitcases. The computer cords were all over the place and I tripped on them three times before Quint finally told me to just move the computer so that the cords wouldn't be in the way.
Hee hee. It's funny how we don't think of these things, like moving the computer (or, in my case, the cats' water bowl; can't move the floor plug).
i finally found someone who would appreciate this: in the dorm i was in this summer, there was a doorstop installed in the floor right by my locker. i got to trip and stub my toe EVERY morning and many afternoons and EVERY night just to access my clothes.
Yea!! I'm on your link list! You figured it out!!
Hey, you forgot about tripping into the table outside of my office the other day. I was trying to ask you a question, and then you went flying and I just stopped and said, "uh, right. I'll just come back again later". Yeah...that was classic RR-in-action kind of moment! Hehe :P
Deals: The sad thing is, I don't even remember doing that.
AM: Yes, I did figure it out (finally). Thanks for the tip!
Lia: Wow. Your story makes me feel a lot better. Thank you for sharing. Is your toe okay, or does it still feel the residual effects of its daily stubbing?
Oh wow, you sound somewhat like myself. Just last Monday, I was wearing those platform flip flops...bad move for me. My ankles gave way, twisted my ankle and busted my knee.
Last night? Headed off to the ER because of a bump on my head that was unknown. Still unknown, however the doctor gave me some fun antibiotics that leave me grasping for the toilet.
Sorry, I know, too much info. Thought I'd share!
Be careful out there! Great blog!
Thanks, Deb! Sorry to hear you had to go to the ER. Sure makes my incidents seem less daunting. :)
Burned my hand today on the STINKIN tea drinkers water boiling device of torture. Thought of you. Smiled knowing that its probably happened to you before. Felt a little better.
Katie: Um, glad to know I could help?
Quick survey of my arms--mystery cut on left arm; burn mark on left index finger knuckle (curling iron injury from yesterday); cut on left ring finger is healing; mystery cut on right arm; mystery red mark on right hand; mystery scratches on right arm
