What does "outside" smell like in your neck of the woods? Because it doesn't sound good (this makes me less wary of you and VERY concerned for the air quality around your campus). I think it is time to move back to Dallas. The air here is just polluted and occasionally smells of fried food and nachos.
My question, as well. Because when I think of smelling like outside, I think of grass and flowers. Okay, I know that's not what outside smells like here, but I wouldn't say outside smells like anything in particular. If it has a distinct smell, it's supposed to be a good one.
:) I mean I smelled like someone who had been outside. Not sweaty like someone who has been exercising, but slightly warmed over like someone who has been outside for a while. Also, like a little bit of nature had been rubbed off on me. And, flowers aside, nature does not always smell good. I don't know; it's hard to describe. But you know it when you smell it.
And we know other people who have also complained of smelling like outside, so we're not the only ones. :) Just in case you thought we were alone on this.

You're weird.
No, she's right! It's hard to describe, but when you smell like outside . . . you know it.
